Ghazl El Mehalla let a precious lead slip away as National Bank of Egypt fought back to earn a crucial point in this Premier League encounter. Mahmoud Salah's 21st-minute opener put the hosts in control, but his subsequent booking and eventual substitution proved costly as NBE regrouped after the break. Osama Faisal's 73rd-minute equalizer capped a determined second-half performance from the visitors, who made tactical adjustments at halftime to turn the tide. The result keeps both sides in mid-table mediocrity, with NBE's away point potentially more valuable given their improved form in recent weeks.
