Al Mokawloon looked in complete control after racing to a 2-0 halftime lead through Shokry Naguib's early opener and Mohamed Salem's 36th-minute strike. However, Petrojet's triple substitution at the break transformed the match dynamics completely. The visitors dominated the second half, with Adham Hamed converting two penalties to secure a dramatic comeback draw. Ibrahim El Kadi's dismissal for a second yellow card with five minutes remaining left Al Mokawloon hanging on desperately, and they couldn't prevent Hamed's late spot-kick equalizer that salvaged a crucial point for Petrojet.
