Outstanding performance

David Hrncar gave the hosts the perfect start three minutes after the break, but his yellow card immediately after proved costly as Zulte-Waregem seized momentum. Okopu's clinical double in the space of seven minutes showcased the difference in quality between the sides, with the visitors' superior attacking statistics (24 shots to 15) ultimately telling the story. Despite Dender's spirited home performance and even possession split, Zulte-Waregem's dominance in dangerous attacks (68 to 39) and their ability to capitalize on key moments secured three vital points in what was an entertaining Pro League encounter.
