The case for your time
Bottom-of-the-table Venezia host 19th-placed Udinese in a Friday-night relegation six-pointer. Paolo Zanetti makes his Udinese debut against the club he led to promotion, while Davide Nicola also faces a former side. With only two points separating the teams, both are desperate for a result.
Venezia's main striker option with Adorante reportedly out. He must end a three-game scoring drought against a leaky defence.
A midfield presence who can link play and supply the creativity Venezia have lacked in front of goal.
With Gueye and Bayo out, Udinese rely on his quality and power in attack to give them a threat.
A midfield engine who could set the tone in Zanetti's effort-based approach and help restore defensive solidity.
