Atalanta kick off their 2026/27 Serie A campaign under the Gewiss Stadium lights on Sunday evening, hosting a Sassuolo side who arrive with Coppa Italia momentum but key absences. With both teams carrying injury concerns and the head-to-head history firmly favouring the hosts at home, this opener promises goals and a statement from Gian Piero Gasperini's men.
