Outstanding performance

Slaven Koprivnica made their halftime changes count, with substitutes Vasilj and Antunovic barely settling before Dominik Kovacic broke the deadlock within two minutes of the restart. Ilja Nestorovski doubled the lead soon after, pouncing on a rebound after his initial effort was saved, and the home side looked comfortable despite Lokomotiva's dominance in possession (56%) and passing accuracy (80%). Noel Durkovic's stoppage-time header from a corner set up a nervy finish, but Koprivnica's clinical edge - just 5 shots on target from 17 attempts compared to Lokomotiva's 12 shots - proved decisive. The result keeps Slaven mid-table but boosts their form, while Lokomotiva will rue their profligacy in front of goal despite the greater share of the ball.
How entertaining was this match?
Slaven Koprivnica hand new head coach Silvijo Čabraja his first game in charge against the very club he left, Lokomotiva Zagreb, as the hosts try to arrest a horrendous run of four defeats in five. Lokomotiva arrive with modest momentum of their own, having won their last two, and will look to exploit a Slaven side still finding its feet under a fresh manager.
