Motor Lublin looked to have snatched control of this Ekstraklasa clash after Karol Czubak's quickfire double turned an early Legia penalty lead into a 2-1 advantage inside a devastating three-minute spell either side of the hour mark. Legia, who had dominated the underlying numbers with 52% possession and superior pass accuracy, kept probing and were rewarded when substitute Jakub Żewłakow struck twice in stoppage time to complete a remarkable smash-and-grab win. Motor will be sick with themselves given they out-shot Legia 13-10, created more dangerous attacks (57 to 40), and had the game seemingly won late on, but their inability to see out the closing minutes proved fatal. For Legia, sitting in the title race conversation, this late resilience will be a huge confidence boost, while Motor's collapse raises fresh questions about their game management under pressure in the closing stages.
