PivotalOutstanding performance

Raków actually led twice through Mahir Madatov and looked to have an answer for every Jagiellonia blow in a tense first half that finished 2-2. But the visitors' superior quality began to tell in the second period, as 20 shots and 7 big chances created eventually overwhelmed a Raków defense that could only muster 4 shots on target of its own. Guilherme Montoia's penalty on 76 minutes broke the deadlock for good, and within two minutes Ousmane Sow had made it 2-4, before substitute Youssuf Sylla wrapped things up in stoppage time. For Jagiellonia, sustained pressure (61 dangerous attacks) and ruthless finishing in the final quarter-hour underline their title-race credentials, while Raków's home form takes a serious blow as they slip into a genuine relegation-zone scare heading into their next fixture.
