Guingamp responded to a triple substitution burst just before the hour mark, with Tanguy Ahile levelling from a Donatien Gomis assist before Brandon Bokangu, only just on the pitch himself, struck the winner four minutes later after Albin Demouchy's header had cannoned off the post. Despite Annecy actually out-doing their hosts in dangerous attacks (45 to 25) and shots, Guingamp were far more clinical, converting from fewer big chances while creating five to Annecy's zero.
