Guingamp exploded out of the blocks, racing into a two-goal lead inside 15 minutes through Samir Ben Brahim and Donatien Gomis, catching a heavily favored Nantes side cold. But Wilitty Younoussa dragged the visitors level with goals either side of half-time, and despite Nantes dominating possession (60%) and territory throughout, it was Antoine Joujou's 85th-minute strike off the bench that looked to have completed the comeback. Gomis, though, had the final word, bundling in a stoppage-time equalizer from a corner to snatch a point for Guingamp, before Dylan Louiserre's missed penalty in the final act summed up a chaotic finish. Nantes will rue their profligacy - 20 shots and five corners to Guingamp's one - while Guingamp will take real encouragement from their resilience against a side considered the stronger outfit on paper.
