Pivotal“Winsley Boteli calmly slots home a penalty to draw Sion level right before the interval, despite playing a man down.”
PivotalOutstanding performance

Zürich struck inside five minutes through a Philippe Paulin Keny penalty and looked set to control the game, especially after Fodé Sylla saw red in the 27th minute to leave Sion a man down. But instead of buckling, Sion responded almost immediately, with Winsley Boteli converting from the spot in the 38th minute to level things up before half-time. From there the match became a grind - Zürich dominated the ball with 54% possession and created more danger going forward with 60 dangerous attacks to Sion's 41, but Sion's ten men held firm defensively, racking up 26 tackles compared to Zürich's 14. Both sides made wholesale changes after the break in search of a winner, but the second half produced almost nothing of note, and the point was shared, leaving Sion to feel like the happier side given the numerical disadvantage they overcame.
