Newcastle United host Liverpool at St. James' Park in what promises to be a fascinating season opener, with both Matthias Jaissle and Andoni Iraola making their competitive managerial debuts for their respective clubs. Despite an injury-hit start for both sides, the reunion of Alexander Isak with his former club and a long-standing head-to-head record firmly in Liverpool's favour add serious spice to this early-season blockbuster.
