“Portsmouth manager John Mousinho booked for arguing with match officials as frustration boiled over late in a tense goalless affair.”
“Ebou Adams shown a yellow card for dissent as the closing minutes descended into heated exchanges between both benches and players.”
Outstanding performance

Charlton dominated the underlying numbers, edging shots 11-9, dangerous attacks 53-37 and corners 7-5, but couldn't turn that pressure into a breakthrough against a well-organised Portsmouth side. Pompey were content to sit in and absorb, using 52% possession and 434 passes to control tempo without ever really threatening Charlton's goal beyond a single big chance. The game turned scrappy in the closing stages as five substitutions between the 69th and 85th minutes disrupted rhythm, and tempers flared with three late yellow cards for arguments involving Mousinho, Adams and Leaburn. Neither side could find the finishing touch, and with both clubs jockeying near the top of the table, this stalemate does little to separate them in the promotion picture.
