Outstanding performance

Barcelona took control almost immediately, punishing early fouls from Levante with clinical finishing from Xavi Espart and Lamine Yamal inside the opening 20 minutes, then made it three before halftime turned into the second when Yamal converted a penalty just after the restart. The visitors dominated possession at 74% and completed nearly 400 passes with 90% accuracy, strangling Levante's ability to build any rhythm despite the hosts actually out-shooting Barcelona 6-4. Levante's late surge, through Iván Romero and Roger Brugué in the final 12 minutes, added tension and showed character but never threatened a genuine comeback given the three-goal cushion Barcelona had banked by the break. For Barcelona this was a statement of control and title-race intent, while Levante will take some encouragement from their spirited finish even in a heavy defeat.
