2 – 2
Outstanding performance

Augsburg stunned Bayern inside the opening minute through Robin Fellhauer and then rode their luck for long stretches, soaking up relentless pressure as Bayern racked up 29 shots to Augsburg's 12 and dominated possession 70-30. Bayern's control eventually told when Ismael Saibari leveled just after the hour following a disallowed Luis Díaz goal, only for Rodrigo Ribeiro to restore Augsburg's lead minutes later with a clinical finish. Bayern's wastefulness in front of goal - five big chances missed compared to Augsburg's one - nearly cost them, but Nathaniel Brown's close-range finish off a Kane cross in the 80th minute rescued a point. The result leaves Bayern's title credentials under scrutiny despite their statistical dominance, while Augsburg can take real encouragement from a battling display built on 26 tackles and 8 saves from Finn Dahmen.
How entertaining was this match?
Bayern Munich head to the WWK Arena looking to extend their winning run, but Augsburg's superb home record and memories of last season's shock win give them real belief. With Jamal Musiala sidelined, Vincent Kompany must find fresh attacking solutions against a host side desperate to bounce back from their collapse at Werder Bremen.
