Outstanding performance
Academico Viseu•GoalkeeperVitória Guimarães dominated the underlying numbers, controlling 54% possession and firing 22 shots to Viseu's 11, yet found themselves undone by a side sitting bottom of the table. Viseu's clinical counter-attacking, exemplified by Lorougnon Gohi's fast-break opener, punished Vitória's slow start, and although Gonçalo Nogueira's well-struck effort from outside the box levelled things on 67 minutes, the visitors could not convert their attacking dominance - wasting three big chances - into a decisive lead. The match unraveled in stoppage time as substitute Mohamed Bouldini snatched a winner for Viseu moments after coming on, and further chaos followed with Alioune Ndoye's red card for violent conduct capping a frenetic finish. For Vitória, this will sting given their control of the game, while Viseu's smash-and-grab win offers a rare bright spot in a difficult season near the foot of the table.
