Outstanding performance

Famalicão made the perfect start through Koutsias inside two minutes, then largely controlled the ball with 59% possession and nearly double Estrela's dangerous attacks, but couldn't turn that dominance into a second goal until it was almost too late. Estrela Amadora, sitting mid-table but fighting for form, showed real resilience, hauling themselves level through Antonetti before Max Scholze's second-half strike put them ahead against the run of play. Just as Estrela looked set to steal all three points, Robinho's needless penalty concession in the 79th minute allowed Koutsias to complete his brace and snatch a draw for Famalicão. The match ended in chaos with a red card for Pepa in stoppage time, capping a wild final quarter after a largely tense opening 45 minutes produced only the opening goal.
