Slimbridge vs Milton Keynes Irish - FA Cup

Slimbridge and Milton Keynes Irish fought out a 2-2 draw in the FA Cup on a Saturday afternoon in August 2026, a result that leaves both sides facing a replay rather than a clean path forward in the competition. The scoreline hints at a match with genuine back-and-forth momentum — someone led, someone responded, and neither side could hold on long enough to claim three points. For Slimbridge, drawing at home in the FA Cup is a missed opportunity to make early progress; for MK Irish, coming away with a point on the road shows enough resilience to make the replay a genuinely open contest. Both teams will now be preparing for that second bite, knowing the margin between progress and elimination remains razor-thin.
