Wells City vs Risborough Rangers - FA Cup

Wells City put in a polished display to dispatch Risborough Rangers 3-1 in their FA Cup tie, controlling the contest for long stretches and converting their opportunities with a clinical edge that their opponents simply could not match. The home side's organisation was evident throughout, with Risborough managing only a consolation to briefly threaten respectability before Wells City reasserted their authority. For Wells City, sitting fourth in their division, this represents a satisfying cup progression that will boost confidence heading into a busy league period. Risborough Rangers, meanwhile, exit the FA Cup early and will need to regroup quickly, returning their focus to league matters where they will be hoping to salvage something from what has been a difficult spell.
