Cobham vs Littlehampton Town - FA Cup

Cobham produced a composed and controlled display to see off Littlehampton Town 3-1 in this FA Cup encounter, booking their place in the next round with plenty to spare. The home side asserted their authority early and, despite Littlehampton pulling one back to briefly threaten a contest, Cobham's quality told across the ninety minutes. Littlehampton, to their credit, refused to simply fold and grabbed a consolation that gave the scoreline a slightly more competitive look than the overall flow of the game warranted. For Cobham, the result is a timely confidence boost and continued FA Cup progress, while Littlehampton must now regroup and focus their attentions back on league duties after a chastening afternoon away from home.
