Rusthall vs Sheppey United - FA Cup

Sheppey United made light work of Rusthall in this FA Cup first round qualifier, running out convincing 3-0 winners in a performance that underlined the gulf between the two sides on the day. The away side appeared to impose themselves early and never relinquished control, with Rusthall offering precious little in response as the match unfolded in decidedly one-sided fashion. For Sheppey, this is exactly the kind of professional cup result that builds confidence and momentum heading into the league season, keeping their FA Cup journey alive with minimal fuss. Rusthall, meanwhile, will return to league duties licking their wounds and facing questions about their ability to compete against opposition ranked significantly above them.
