PivotalOutstanding performance

Gaziantep produced a ruthless first-half smash-and-grab, scoring four times in 45 minutes despite being second-best for most of the possession and territory battle. Halil Dervişoğlu and Myenty Abena struck inside the opening ten minutes before Kacper Kozłowski's double either side of a saved penalty and a post-hitting header made it 0-4 at the break. Göztepe responded well after the interval, dominating the ball, dangerous attacks and corners, with Juan's brace either side of a red card for Ogün Bayrak giving the scoreline a respectable veneer despite the damage already done. The stats tell the real story — Göztepe had 76 dangerous attacks to Gaziantep's 23 and eight corners to three, yet their profligacy in front of goal and a shaky start cost them, while Gaziantep's clinical edge in a compressed first-half spell settled the contest before it truly began.
How entertaining was this match?
Winless Göztepe host a Gaziantep FK side searching for a new manager, with both clubs desperate for a foothold near the bottom of the table. Home advantage and a favorable head-to-head record make Göztepe the narrow favorites, but their threadbare defense could be their undoing.
