Outstanding performance
Saint Martin•AttackerSaint Martin wasted little time asserting control, racing into a three-goal lead by halftime through Axel Raga Rigobert, Pierre-Bertrand Arné, and Matteo Makhabe, backed by 75% possession and a near-total grip on the midfield. A penalty from Jordan Alexandre early in the second half made it four, and wholesale changes did nothing to slow the home side's momentum as Raga Rigobert completed his hat-trick with goals in the 77th and 90th minutes. Bahamas managed just seven shots and two on target all match, offering no real resistance despite a spirited defensive effort reflected in their 12 tackles. For Saint Martin, this is a statement result that underlines their position atop the group, while Bahamas will need to regroup quickly having been comprehensively outclassed in every phase of play.
How entertaining was this match?
Saint Martin ride a wave of attacking momentum into this League C clash, having already demolished Bahamas 8-0 last time out. Bahamas arrive winless and goalless in confidence, making this a huge mismatch on paper despite both sides battling in the standings.
