Outstanding performance

US Virgin Islands produced a masterclass in efficiency, scoring three times from just 10 shots while Bahamas peppered the goal with 15 attempts and 6 on target but found the net only once. Jimson St Louis opened the scoring early before Rakeem Joseph struck right on the stroke of halftime, sending the Virgin Islands in with a commanding two-goal cushion despite being outpossessed 58-42. Noah Armour, introduced as a substitute just after the hour mark, needed only three minutes to make an impact, slotting home the third and effectively ending the contest. Bahamas pulled one back through C. Rahming but their dominance in the underlying numbers - more corners, more dangerous attacks, higher pass accuracy - counted for little against a Virgin Islands side that made the most of their five saves and clinical finishing.
How entertaining was this match?
US Virgin Islands look to build on their opening win as Bahamas arrive desperate to bounce back from a humiliating 0-8 defeat to Saint Martin. With League C bragging rights and early group positioning on the line, this Bethlehem Soccer Stadium clash could swing dramatically either way.
