“Jack Willow completes the scoring in stoppage time, putting a final gloss on a dominant second-half display.”
Redditch United needed patience before finding their rhythm, with a scoreless first half giving little hint of the goal rush to come. Once Tyler Bruck broke through three minutes into the second half, the floodgates opened as Redditch's 65% possession and territorial dominance finally translated into the scoreboard. Szhem Whyte-Hall and Jeval Thompson-McKenzie added further goals within the space of eight minutes to put the tie beyond doubt, before Jack Willow's late strike in the 89th minute rounded off a comprehensive cup victory. Malvern Town, despite winning more corners, never carved out the clear-cut chances needed to trouble the scoreline and were ultimately undone by their opponents' second-half efficiency.
