United of Manchester vs Ossett United - FA Cup

United of Manchester made light work of their non-league opponents, racing into control with three goals inside the first half-hour and never looking back. The gulf in class was stark across the statistics - 24 shots to 4, 96 dangerous attacks to 56 - as United's cup pedigree and squad depth told against a spirited but overmatched Ossett United side. Ossett's keeper made four saves to keep the deficit respectable, but there was little he could do about the quality flowing through United's attack, who added two more in a late double-strike flurry either side of the 85th minute. For United, it's job done and progression secured with minimal fuss; for Ossett, there's pride to take from avoiding a heavier defeat against a side operating on a different level entirely.
