Frome Town held firm defensively for the majority of the contest but couldn't withstand a decisive second-half burst from Plymouth Parkway. Rio Garside opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 55th minute, and just seven minutes later Callum Hall doubled the lead after Frome's own penalty attempt was saved, turning defence into attack in an instant. The visitors' cup pedigree and squad depth told in the key moments, with clinical execution in front of goal proving the difference. For Frome Town, elimination ends their cup run early, while Plymouth Parkway march on with confidence heading into their next round.
