Pivotal
Slimbridge
Hungerford Town
Slimbridge matched Hungerford Town for the opening half hour, with Jack Smith cancelling out Sheldon Wright's early opener to leave things level at the break. But the tie turned on itself early in the second half when an unfortunate own goal handed Hungerford the lead, and Wright's second on 67 minutes made sure there was no way back for the home side. Hungerford's ability to strike in key moments, twice through Wright, proved the difference between two sides who had been evenly matched for large spells. For Slimbridge, this ends their FA Cup run at this stage, while Hungerford move on with confidence heading into their next tie.
