Thame
Eastbourne Borough
Eastbourne Borough made the long trip count, grinding out a narrow 1-0 win over non-league Thame in this FA Cup tie. With no detailed goal or card events recorded, the match appears to have been a tense, tactical battle where neither side took major risks, and Eastbourne's superior quality from the National League eventually told. Thame, buoyed by home advantage and cup spirit, held firm for long periods but couldn't find the breakthrough they needed to force extra time. The result keeps Eastbourne's cup run alive while ending Thame's giant-killing hopes for another season.
