A pulsating encounter at Vitality Stadium saw Bournemouth snatch a dramatic late equalizer after Manchester United appeared to have weathered the storm following Harry Maguire's dismissal. Bruno Fernandes' penalty gave United the lead before Ryan Christie's clever finish from Adrien Truffert's cross leveled proceedings. An unfortunate own goal from James Hill restored United's advantage, but Maguire's reckless challenge handed Bournemouth a lifeline that Eli Kroupi gratefully accepted from the spot. The result maintains United's inconsistent form while giving Bournemouth a valuable point against higher-ranked opposition.
