Outstanding performance
Talleres Córdoba•AttackerTalleres Córdoba controlled this match from the opening whistle, dominating possession at 61% and doubling Union Santa Fe's shot count, but they had to wait until the 39th minute for Agustín Álvarez to break the deadlock. The hosts continued to press through the second half, and their patience paid off again when substitute-fueled pressure led to Depietri doubling the lead in the 75th minute, with Álvarez turning provider after his earlier goal. Eric Ramírez gave Union Santa Fe hope with a stoppage-time strike, capping a frantic finish that saw four separate substitutions and a flurry of missed chances in the closing ten minutes, but it wasn't enough to deny Talleres the win. The result keeps Talleres Córdoba firmly in the title conversation while Union Santa Fe will rue their profligacy in front of goal, managing just 4 shots on target from 17 attempts across the ninety minutes.
