Outstanding performance

Bayern Munich needed just one minute of the second half to break the deadlock through Jamal Musiala, and from there the floodgates opened against a Bodø/Glimt side that simply couldn't cope. Harry Kane doubled the lead with a close-range header from a set piece, before Alphonso Davies added a spectacular effort from outside the box. Michael Olise then took center stage, scoring twice in the final ten minutes as Bayern's rotation of fresh legs - Karl, Bischof, Ito - kept the pressure relentless. The numbers tell the story of total domination: 66% possession, 25 shots to 3, and 12 shots on target against none for the visitors, who were reduced to ten men in the 87th minute when Odin Luras Bjørtuft was sent off for a professional foul. This was as one-sided as Champions League nights get, with Bayern cruising while Bodø/Glimt's European campaign takes an early hit.
How entertaining was this match?
Bayern Munich kick off their Champions League league phase campaign at home against a Bodø/Glimt side riding an 18-match unbeaten run. Vincent Kompany's star-studded attack should have too much firepower, but the Norwegian champions won't be pushovers given their recent form.
