Villarreal
Villarreal's brief two-win spark died at the Bernabéu, leaving a mid-table team stuck in L-W-W-L-L inconsistency.
A 0-1 defeat at Real Madrid on October 10 snapped back-to-back wins over Levante and Málaga, confirming Villarreal remain stuck in 10th with a flat goal difference. Pape Gueye leads the attack with just 3 league goals, and injury doubts around Buchanan and Akhomach add to the uncertainty under new boss Íñigo Pérez.
