Gimnasia can't lose but can't win either - four straight draws have them unbeaten yet stuck in neutral.
A 1-1 draw with Independiente Rivadavia on October 3 and another 1-1 with Atlético Tucumán the next day kept the unbeaten run alive but did little to shift Gimnasia from 6th place. With 8 clean sheets in 16 games, the defense is solid, but Marcelo Torres and company need more than one goal a game to turn draws into wins.
