Marítimo
Marítimo are stuck in freefall, winless in five straight league games and sliding toward the drop zone.
A 2-1 home defeat to Porto on October 10 extended Marítimo's winless run to five matches, with just two wins all season. The defense has been porous, conceding regularly despite only one clean sheet, while the attack has leaned on isolated moments like Gábor Szalai's early strike against Porto. With only 8 points from eight games, Mitchell van der Gaag's side need a response fast to avoid drifting into the relegation fight.
