Rennes
Rennes bounced back from a Lyon hammering to thump Auxerre 4-1, climbing to third in Ligue 1
After a bruising 4-0 defeat at Lyon, Rennes responded emphatically with a 4-1 demolition of Auxerre to sit third with 13 points. Estéban Lepaul leads the line with 4 league goals, and the W L W W W form line shows a side that answered its one bad night with four wins. Goal difference of +2 is modest, but the attacking output - 2 goals per game - suggests this team can hurt anyone on its day.
