Lyon's first loss of the season at Lens stings, but they're still second and now facing a defensive crisis up next.
Lyon's unbeaten start ended with a 2-1 defeat at Lens on October 9, but they remain second, just two points off Monaco. Ernest Nuamah continues to lead the attack after his double against Rennes. The bigger worry is depth at the back: Moussa Niakhaté missed the Lens game with a hamstring issue and Mohamed Ouédraogo is out for months with a ruptured cruciate ligament, leaving Fonseca to lean on Abner and Tagliafico at left-back.
