Toluca sit 2nd with 20 points, but two losses in their last three league games expose real cracks in defense.
After a bright 6W-2D-3L start, Toluca have stumbled, losing to Santos Laguna and most recently falling 3-2 at Tigres. The attack remains dangerous at 2.3 goals per game with Federico Viñas leading the line, but conceding in each of the last three outings shows the defense is the real concern as Antonio Mohamed's side tries to stay in the title conversation.
